Elli’s Forget-Me-Nots return for another year!

These flowers are currently occupying the north side of the back yard garden. This means they’re slated for removal when I get some time to glove up and go shoveling! So let’s enjoy them while they’re here.

What better way to celebrate April than with a fresh, pink tulip?

It does look like a pear blossom, but there are no leaves yet and the petals have pretty spots, which I haven’t been able to find online anywhere.

Since we moved into this house on New Year’s Day of this year, I had no idea what to expect coming up from the soil! I still am not sure what lots of the plants are called, but I can tell the previous owners really loved their flowers.
